The "Head of Christ" icon is a portrait of Jesus from Nazareth. It is believed that the picture "became the basis for the visualization of Jesus" for millions of people.

Many Lutheran and Roman Catholic Christians have praised the painting for the hidden host on the forehead of the "Head of Christ" and the chalice on his temple, both pointing to the Holy Eucharist. Similarly, the "Head of Christ" became popular among evangelical Christians, who believed that the portrait emphasized "the saving power of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection." David Morgan, a professor of religion at Duke University, states that "for many Christians during the Cold War, Sallman's portrait did represent a courageous, courageous Christ, while for others it represented a closer and more caring Jesus, a personal savior for modern times."

Our dear customers. "Gallery of Needlework" continues to work for you, but there have been some forced, temporary changes in our work. You should know about it.

During the war, our production reduced its capacity. Unfortunately, we cannot produce some of the products offered on the website or Instagram page yet.

After all, many of our craftsmen temporarily went abroad due to the war in Ukraine. In addition, we encountered a problem during the procurement of materials. There are not many types of fabrics and threads on sale, and the color range of these products is limited.

Due to these circumstances, we ask you to discuss this with us before ordering products on the website or expecting that the delivery time will be short, to make sure that the order will be fulfilled and on time.

Currently, we can offer customers what is already in stock. Also, customers can discuss with us the possibility of manufacturing a certain product by calling us or in private messages.

Thank you for staying with us in the difficult time of the war and we hope for your understanding. We believe in the quick victory of Ukraine and that soon the "Gallery of Embroidery" will be fully operational again. Let's survive difficult times together!
